1. What does the name of your shop mean?

Swakrta is a name I created by combining "swa" meaning "own" (and also part of my name) and "krta" meaning "made". Swa makes everything you see here :)

2. Do you really make everything yourself?

Yes, indeed. Everything I sell is something I made. I sewed it, or I dyed it, or I wove it. I have no helpers (unless you count my cats, and they're about as helpful as you'd imagine.)

3. I like your product X or Y or Z, but I'd like it in a different colour, bigger, with a different handle... Can I ask for a customisation?

Yes, you can and you may! Get in touch with me via email or Instagram and we can work on it. I must tell you, however, that any customised product must be paid for and accepted by you once we've fixed on what you'd like. Also, please remember that I run this all by myself, so it might be a while before I respond to your queries, depending on time of day or day of the week. Also remember that this will likely mean the product will cost more than a ready one does. Thank you for your understanding!

4. Do you ship to...?

I ship everywhere in India that can be reached by India Post or courier service.

5. Can you make something for my... ?

Yes, of course! If you can tell me what they'd like, I'll try and make it for them.
